What is a PhD? Actually it is an advanced research degree compared to master & first degree level. It conduct a major research project & present the results in the form of a thesis. This level of study must represent research that is original within the discipline. It is designed to create advanced knowledge and once completed, the thesis is examined by experts in the field of the research.
The structure of program includes:
- training series (10x)
- several workshops
- colloquium 1 (month 6) - ideas presentation
- proposal defense (month 12)
- colloquium 2 (month 18) - construct instrumentation & collect data
- colloquium 3 (month 24) - research findings
- viva (month 36) - thesis defense
